The Mediterranean
The Mediterranean is almost completely enclosed, bordered by Europe to the North, Africa to the South and Asia to the east. It is connected to The atlantic on it's west side via a narrow corridor, only 9 miles wide called the Strait of Gibraltar. It covers about 11 million square miles and is about 3 miles deep at it's deepest point.
Dive Sites
The Med does not have the wide variety of wildlife that is found in other oceans, but there are still plenty of good dive sites such as;
Malta, Croatia and Cyprus.
