HMS Maori

This is probably Malta's most famous wreck dives. She sank in 1942 during a German attack on Malta.

The wreck is located about 12 metres offshore at the southern end of the bay below Fort St Elmo.

Acces is from some steps opposite a cafe in the bay, from there it is necessary to swim to the wreck.

The wreck is positioned against a sandy bank that has built up against the ship's port side in about 16 metres of water. The wreck is easily accessible and you can dive inside as the entry and exit points are easy to get to.
