Double Arch Reef

By nickbeeny - Posted on 02 June 2008

Double Arch Reef lies about 200 metres offshore at the northern end of the Island of Gozo in Malta. It is a short distance to the east of Xwieni Bay.

The main feature is the double arch which consists of two holes in the rock shelf, one above the other resembling an arch with a swim through above, hence the name.

The Arches are part of a long sweeping shelf which is can be completely dived before heading back to the exit point.
