Advanced Open water Course

The advanced open water dive course from PADI is the next stage from the Open water course. This course introduces some specialty and more challenging dives to the diver.

The course consists of 5 different types of dive, the two compulsory ones are Deep and underwater navigation Adventure Dives. Plus you must do 3 more types of dives from a list of 15.

Dive type options

These options include, Adventure Dive options include altitude diving, AWARE-fish identification, boat diving, diver propulsion vehicle use, drift diving, dry suit, multilevel and computer diving, night diving, peak performance buoyancy, search and recovery, underwater nature study, underwater navigation, underwater photography, underwater videography and wreck diving.

Finally there are some knowledge sets to complete from the manual.

The skills learnt from this course enables the diver to progress further up the skills ladder.
